German Shepherd

We came to pick a puppy
To be the family joy
You were not shy or frightened
Just walked and sat at my toes.
Kids named you Juno
Since we bought you in June
At first you whined for mother
And sweet dog breeding home.
We taught you many tricks
As sit, shake, and down
Now you are quite big
Black and brown one hundred pounds.
You feel each family member
And come to share your love
As a related spirit
Sent to us from above.
You never complain, or argue
Just beg sometimes for treats
Your big brown eyes
Produce attention and peace.

Hi there, I wrote it when he was young. Now he is 11 years old. Loves kids and tries to protect against any suspicious dog. I enjoy walking him very much. Cheers.
