Angie

You saw a light when others saw none,
You lived each moment with grace
You offered your best to those in need
A class act no one could replace.
Times we shared are etched in my mind,
They still can make me smile,
You were honorable and brave,
Having my back all the while.
Arc Angela was your given name
Though Angie was what others knew
But I’ve a feeling an angel you were
Lent from heaven until your final ado.
God keep you close to his heart
And I pray he can whisper my prayer
Though I didn’t have a chance to say good-bye
In my heart you’ll always be there.
