Forbidden Friendship

Evans E Bradley 1949 (Washington, DC)

Something that we all experience at some point in our life,
Is meeting someone special, other than your husband or wife,
Someone who makes you feel like no ever would,
That makes you realize your spouse never could,
That is the “Forbidden Friendship” it happens on the fly,
It hits you like a ton of bricks instead of going by,
You don't know what to do with it, because if you cross the line,
You could lose the Friendship or marriage both at the same time,
It's a risk worth taken for the pleasure that it bestows,
If you are both in tune to see how this friendship grows
You may have been in a relationship that has span a little time,
But in a “Forbidden Friendship” it's the only thing on your mind.
So don't be fooled by what other opinions may reveal,
Forbidden Friendship might be wrong but it's also for real.
