If I have a day full of pain,
In some way, I feel I have gained,
For only by hurt can we learn and grow,
If we never get hurt we will never know,
Life is too short to live for tomorrow,
It may not come and then there is sorrow,
I live for the moment which is today,
Have as much fun and enjoyment that comes my way,
Try not to hurt others no matter what it is I do,
But also protect my poor lonely heart too.
