if I could be more of a cat
you all couldn't hurt me
so easy as that

you couldn't get near me
to kick or to pat
I'd be greatly improved
if more like a cat

if I could be less than i am
i would be more acceptable
...more in demand
would roll over & die
when I should take a stand
i would be better off
but i don't give a damn
