Nubian

Traill 1998 (Sussex)

A house with the lights on and no one inside
Numbed thoughts succumb pig pasty eyes
Dreams aren’t friends
Love invested fleshy horrors
Play in the minds stage
Translucent whispers
Feelings marshal enclosed thoughts
Soul floats outside body - out there and not planning on coming back
Roaming the wild rover
Forever and more
Head is broken
Must chisel open
Release in-caved man’s thoughts
“I’m trying to escape”
Words patter on break-broken bones
Actions intended consequence-less consequences
Sit in the eye’s mind.
