Let Passion Take The Lead

Ruchika Mohata 1995 (West Bengal)

The fight is between wanting to lead an easy life or an interesting life,
You’ll either have relatable monotonous problems or an exotic strife.
You can still wait and waste your time thinking what the society says,
Only to realize later that they won’t even bother after a few days.

Or you can get up and take a step forward towards your passion,
For God’s sake, do it because you love it, not because it’s in fashion.
Do it because your heart craves for it and you do not want to live in regrets,
Do it because you don’t want to turn to yourself, years later, with fury and frets.

Know your responsibilities, play your game ball by ball, one step at a time,
Irrespective of your earnings, following your dream career is never a crime.
It is never too late to take a decision, it is never too early to take a step,
Now is the time to take the plunge, now is the time to move ahead.

Please do not be scared of mistakes, it’s okay until you make blunders,
Actually, even after blunders, there’s huge scope to do wonders.
You know, most notable are the graphs which reach their highs after hitting their lows,
Keep growing, but be careful, you have a huge way to travel, with friends and foes.
