Soul Mate

When you have been married for as long as we,
You began not to see what you use to be,
Always trying to take advantage,
We end up taking each other for granted,
Even though we both care deeply for each other,
It's more like living with a sister and brother,
It becomes so difficult to cope with all the stress,
When along comes a Soul Mate to bring out your best,
A soul mate is someone who's neither family nor wife,
A special person that's more different than anyone in your life,
Someone that brings joy into the air of despair,
Making you feel better like perhaps you can bear,
The Soul Mate is never there at the beginning,
They always show up at the half time or the final inning,
It's not fair that this happens at this time of the game,
My Soul Mate in my life but can't take my name,
Is it wrong to love another when married for years on end,
If loving my Soul Mate is wrong then just let me sin,
I love my family and wife with all that is true,
But My Soul Mate really makes my life feel renewed.
