Time’s A Wasting!

Evans E Bradley 1949 (Washington, DC)

When I was a younger lad, time really didn’t matter,
But Now That I am somewhat older, I hear all the chatter,
There are so many things that I have always wanted to do,
But now my greatest fear is I may not be able to,
So many things I put off until another day,
Now I am trying to catch-up and I don’t see anyway,
Living for today is my new battle cry,
If I put it off until tomorrow, I just might fall over and die,
Yes time is a wasting, faster each and every day,
As much as you can in the present Live, Love and play,
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow may not come,
Today is the time to really get it done,
If you are like me unhappy, feeling unloved,
Open your heart, eyes & mind to fill the need above,
Don’t hesitate for a moment or a little while,
For Time’s A Wasting for you right now.
