Sole (Echo eternal, the separate cries of earth and space)
A solitary tree divides the horizon
On a pinholed, perforated night.
Its subtle limbs rake the sky
Harvesting any lost light.
An intermittent star breaches the dragnet,
And intoices a passing pause, (glance)
Signalling an existence aeons past
As two lovers intertwine in repose, (romance).
