Lost Love

We greeted each other with a smile,
When I first saw you in the corridor
I didn't know if our hearts had to speak anything more.
I waited for you every time,
Whenever I reached the school
I didn't know what's in my mind to rule.

You are a great artist,
painting your picture in my eyes.
You were my everything,
It was a heartbreak, now I realize

You are my lost love,
And my soul is still finding you.
You were my daydream
But my nightmares turned into you.

We forgot each other with a smile,
After we talked for so long.
Your words swayed me towards the wrong.
I hoped to make you only mine, whenever I texted you.
But you proved my wishes would never be true.

You are the flame of my candle,
flickering near my eyes.
You are a true orator,
turning all truths into real lies.

You are my lost love,
And my soul is still finding you.
You were my daydreams,
But my nightmares turned into you.
