Pardoned

Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)

On the cross God gave His precious son,
Now for each sinner a new life has begun.

A victory like a thoroughbred’s run,
Laurels of roses after sound of a gun.

Daily may we consult our Savior one-on-one.
Knowing ‘there’s nothing new under the sun.’

After repentance rebirth. Salvation done.
Forgiveness. Redemption. This sinner won!

Easter after God gave His son,
Evil in Our Risen Savior was none!

Majestic sunrise, sunset golden spun,
Christ’s mission on earth barely begun!
