Daydream
Markofaith 1962 (US)
I often sit and wonder about my life, sometimes I made mistakes, even-though I strived to do right. Ive been through a lot of pain, but most of it in my past. I had to overcome the obstacles that bad decisions caused to last.
Am I being judged? Or is it all in my head? Do I hold a grudge, disregarding the things that are said?
I know that I am a good person deep down in my soul. Regardless of what is thought of me, negativity won't take control. Sometimes, I feel like problems are a daily plight. Those same problems are the ones that kept me focused on my fight.
At times, I wonder if I've grown to be the man I claim to be. Am I living for others' happiness or living so that I can be me?
We all need that something that can give us so much joy. We all need that someone who can always give us more.
We just want to be happy, so we feel content. Happiness is remembering the Lord's promises are all heaven sent.
People are known to change for the better, even-though some may not believe. My life has changed for the better, for God truly knows what I need.
I will succeed,.. I will indeed. My will has shown,.. others see I've achieved. The things in life that some can only dream. My dreams in life justifies my means.
The older I get, the wiser I tend to be. I know money can't buy happiness. My happiness is being free.
