A poem for the seasons
Krista Fischer 1975 (Pennsylvania)
Spring is a girl sweet and fair
Summer a maid with long golden hair
autumn is a woman with a glorious gown
winter's a crone with a frosted crown.
winter drags a scythe across the land.
spring leads her granny by the hand,
summer holds spring safe and warm, and fall leads summer out of the storm.
the seasons dance 'round the wheel, from birth to death so the world may heal.
