Gone tomorrow

Obed Daniels 1981 (GranadaHills)

If I told you how I feel
It be creepy it be weird
We talked in October
We met up march
You came slept over
Then you left the next day

You are something
you really are
I just hate it
that we started talking
at a time when you would part
You were leaving the county
Actually pretty far
Las Vegas nevada
and not counting
On telling mua
In fact
coming back
Was not in your hand
So what was the purpose
Of coming in
I’m not mad
I’m disappointed
For letting a stranger in
On a time that I was hurting
Like pulling the scab
On a wound
That wasn’t fully healed
I thought I could trust myself
My heart was supposed to
To be sealed
I guess I just told you now
How I truly feel

Obed Daniels

My name is obed Daniels This is about me I had to learn as an adult as a child there were loving parents Integrity love respect To be caring Was what they taught. Although we weren’t rich We had plenty thanks to my father Who’s pockets were never empty One day my mother decided to leave my father I remember so vividly When she walked out that door I couldn’t understand What was happening I was playing Atari Eyes glued to the screen But my ears listening to them argue My mother said to me You don’t have to stay with your daddy If you want You can bring your Atari Like if that was a deal breaker Even though it was something I cared for It was my sisters and mother whom Needed me to look after To be continued more…
