My Place

Kingston 2007 (Gainesvill)

Growing up was no easy thing,
I walked the earth everyday,
Thinking I would one day Find that special person,
But what I found was an empty heart,
My chest was empty,
My heart was hollow,
My love was like glass,
So easily broken,
So easily taken,
So easily Smashed,

I walk the earth another day thinking I have what I want,
I learn that you don't get what you want by finding love,
You earn all of that,
My heart has earned no place on this earth,
So I sit here on this bridge,
And watch that water splash against that Bridge legs,
I watch every thing,
Die,
Live,
And then Die again,
My eyes filled with sorrow,
And filled with sadness,
I guess this is where I say,
Depression you've won,
Do I jump now?
Do I keep existing,
No.
No.
I have to jump,
Everyone will be better,
Without Me.
