When Christ Returns

When Christ returns His voice one will know.
He leads one through perfidious throes.

Christ Jesus overthrows the status quo.
His pivotal position, no mere cameo.

Silent and slow below December snow,
Like Crocus agape took root, an embryo.

Christ Jesus cares more than anyone knows,
Bringing more blessings than woe.

The light of His lamp like His raiment glows,
A beacon during winter’s worst snows.

It matters not which way wind blows.
It matters not which way river flows.

If one spreads goodwill to both friends and foes,
Then love forever in one’s heart grows.
