Off With The Shoes

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

When it is seen to observe,
One has decided to choose...
The removing of their shoes.
In public to do.
With a walking away from ignorance.
This decision made,
Will leave those to believe...
One who has done this,
Could care less...
Who is or is not impressed.
About a decision made,
Final on its arrival.
And determined to achieve,
A destination to leave...
Behind an experience,
Not to repeat to revisit...
What has to them,
Nothing new to learn.
Or has long lasting benefits.
Ignorance to tolerate,
The presence of it...
Remains as is,
Regardless who dresses to address...
The insignificance,
Of their kept to nourish pretensions!
