Winter musing

Ouch! There is such a cold breeze
It can make our bones freeze;
It is yet again the Winter's shout
Time to get our woolies out.

Hey! The sun too takes an early break
Winter's chill surely is no piece of cake;
Cozily padded up, indoors at my base,
Nestle up by my in-house fire place.

To charge up, I picked a cuppa hot coffee,
But it was rather unproductive;
Then I thought, liquor may do the trick,
A large brandy, neat, worked like magic.

Well warmed up now, Oh! Not for the cancan,
Ready to hit the sack, this old man.
