I Am Here

As I view the pastel expanse,
I ponder my place in it all.
A voice that cannot be heard
Allows a balm to fall.
An epiphany is a gift---
That of understanding.
For time and place no longer
Have the same meaning.
My soul accepts my place,
So now I am at peace.
My struggle is over,
And joy will never cease.
