My Pal

When the Sun goes down

When the dust settles

When  the chips are down

When the tides fade

when huge pings drizzle

When the shadow descends

And voices inaudible; faint

When feeling bows to 'gravity'.

When promises are but vain rhetoric

 And the smiling face oozes deceit,

 Down in the dark,

At the bay of the turmoil of sanity

Shinning and forgiving,

Beaming and beckoning,

Always patient, always available;

 My Pen, my pal, my ink!
