Hello Newcomer

Hello newcomer, how do you do,
My name is 'Euphoria', pleased to meet you.
Out with your friends, would you like to have a great time?
I know that you're shy, don't worry, It'll be fine.

Your skin is so soft, your hair beautifully flows,
Bright eyes you have, filled with dreams it shows.
Nothing will change, you'll still be the same,
Its just a good time, now lets play the game.

Sublime intentions, we'll start off real slow,
I'm not in a hurry, 'cos I don't want you to know,
The truth sets you free, so instead under the rug I brush
It's part of my manipulation, mind control, & brainwash.

Before you tried me, you already gave it a thought,
your ever so curious mind, led you to get caught.
Living in the moment, music, bright lights,
It didn't take much convincing, for you to decide.

Exhale, then inhale deep, there you go, easy does it,
Now release slowly,  nice huh?...told you you're gonna love it.
What a great night, calmness no fear,
For a moment or second, all problems dissappear.

You thought it a once off, but 4 days apart too long,
So you called me up, and invited me home.
A brisk knock, you opened unto me the door,
But little did you realize, that you had opened up 'A' door.

We spent so much time together, right through till the dawn,
Omg, its 6 o clock already, now off to your job you must crawl.
Eyes looking hammered, lack of concentration,
No worries, we'll hook up later, and have our celebration.

A week without me, pretending you're in control,
Not realizing that when you inhaled me, I bonded with your soul.
You are never alone, I'm here for you, together as planned,
Even in the emergency room, we remain hand in hand.

I am quickly becoming your master, you are my pet,
Allow me to re-introduce myself, I am 'Angel of Death'.
Many names I come with, cocaine, crackity crack,
Welcome to Hotel California, no turning back.

Didn't take you long to realize, I was evil in disguise,
I wore my mask well, and drew you in with my lies.
I showed you my make believe face, fake smile and charm,
And nudged, comon, give it a shot, in the name of fun.

Glad you fell for me quick and fast, cos my mask was slipping,
My demonic face was hidden, while your soul I was slowly gripping.
Great career, aspirations, goals, your beautiful children, future so lit,
I've relieved you from them all, now come take another hit.

I know things are now different, not like when we first met,
It used to be fun and games, now all you have is regret.
No worries, there's still gifts, like hallucinations, depression, & sadness,
But my favorite gift of all, is your empty bank balance .

Rehab, sobriety, counselling, over the billions of years they've been told,
That the only time I release my grip, is when your body turns cold.
Even then, we're still together, free falling into my bottomless well,
But these choices you have made, now welcome to the depths of hell.
