Train

Vivian Timmins 1955 (United States)

I hear the train
As I sit alone
Just me & my pain.
It just sounded it's horn
I'm tired & worn
My heart tattered & torn.
This place is scary at night, even men have fright, especially when there's no moon light, they keep their car door locked tight.
Yet I'm frozen as if In a trance
My spirit is broken I'm just not the same. But to let myself lose to your cruel game is something I refuse to allow, no more shame. I'll get back to my beautiful self, & put these dreary episodes on the back shelf. I will spring back, enjoy my life, I'll go ride that train, throw out my pain, and never look back, as I wave good bye to you standing alone next to the track

Vivian Timmins

Lost my son when he was 22. My daughter is wicked & hateful. I cut her from my life. I live in novato california, it's a very hard time to be left alone. My pain& anger is a lot of what I write, to vent, this way I avoid confrentation which leads to no where. Not when dealing with people that do not know how to communicate and are not concerned about you, only concerned with themselves and the outcome they want at that given moment. Selfish, self centered, too immature to take responsibility for their actions. On paper I write what I'm feeling and there are no reprocussions for saying how I see it or feel it & the numbskulls just keep going round and round with their lack of ability to handle situations calmly and move past their limited thinking. As for me, I like to listen, I like to grow, be open to what's outside the box and not be ignorant. In this world we live in, there is no excuse for ignorance. We are in the information age. more…
