Fool on a stool.

Vivian Timmins 1955 (United States)

Every day
On your stool
The one at the bar
By the pool
Does that make you cool?
Mom's in the front house
You're in the back
I guess at some point
You'll throw her a snack.
Sprinkle some water on the lawn
Sanding something stupid till dawn
Sitting on your stool
Makes you cool
Wish I knew somebody that had a pool
Drink some cokes
buy some smokes
Hit the weed pipe for a few tokes
Tell the same jokes
You know you're cool
The guy on the stool
In the back by the pool
They all look up to you
Because they can't look down
You can't look lower than the ground.
Time to polish something you found with your faithful friends sitting all around...HARK what is that sound, I look around, water streaming off you to the ground, as I sat on your stool
You fell in the pool so far away from cool, when you cried, why did she do that to me... I wanted to slap you but I was cool. That's when you proved you are a fool. Here, take back your stool.

Lost my son when he was 22. My daughter is wicked & hateful. I cut her from my life. I live in novato california, it's a very hard time to be left alone. My pain& anger is a lot of what I write, to vent, this way I avoid confrentation which leads to no where. Not when dealing with people that do not know how to communicate and are not concerned about you, only concerned with themselves and the outcome they want at that given moment. Selfish, self centered, too immature to take responsibility for their actions. On paper I write what I'm feeling and there are no reprocussions for saying how I see it or feel it & the numbskulls just keep going round and round with their lack of ability to handle situations calmly and move past their limited thinking. As for me, I like to listen, I like to grow, be open to what's outside the box and not be ignorant. In this world we live in, there is no excuse for ignorance. We are in the information age. more…
