Another hopeful romantic?
Is it too much to ask?
God please grant it, in her glow I'll bask.
Why's it feels so right?
Will it bring disgrace?
If I had one night, the memory I couldn't efface.

Or is it just semantics,
Another social mask?
I accept the challenge,
I accept the task.

I would drink of you.
Like the finest wine.
I would leave my kiss upon the cup.
Drink of me.
With a thirst divine.
Devour my kiss, indulge, eat up.

Just to see you joyous.
Just to see you smile.
But they would destroy us.
Convict us without trial.

So be with him,
But do not waiver, do not transform.
In Life's pool swim
But it's you I savor, my muse, my artform.
