Bring Me Your Pain

I have crossed the waters of time
I have sailed upon newborn skies
I have seen, I have touched, I have tasted
I have searched, I have loved, I have lost

So bring me your pain and your hurt
Lay it before me like silken sashes at a Persian Bazaar
Tell me every intricate detail like describing their elegant prints

Pour your agony and anguish over me
Decant your port into my soul so I may consume it
Empty your flagon of wine so I may destroy all trace of it

Unclasp your burdens from around your velvetine neck
Place them in my hand like a bejeweled necklace so I may feel the heat of your body within it's gold
Let it slowly deliquesce into my being
