The Detectives

“There’s been a murder”,
Declared Sargent Brown.
“2nd and Adams,
Halfway cross town”.

Detectives arrived
To asses the scene.
Collecting evidence,
Their normal routine.

The woman was found,
Face down in the bath.
The apparent work
Of a psychopath.

The tub filled with milk
And pieces of fruit.
The evidence found
You could not refute.

Scattered all over
Covering the floor,
Flakes loops and puffs
And crunches galore.

“It’s obvious boys”,
Cried Detective Stiller,
“What we have here
Is a cereal killer”.
