The Past

Looking back in time, my darkest days are behind me, in the past.
They were not meant to last.
As I stand here, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
Nobody knows my true story.
All that pain, has shown me the true power of His glory.
Today my life has changed, realizing that my sons were sent from above.
When I met them I fell deeply in love.
There's no price for happiness.
It surpasses all struggles of loneliness.
Yet again, I am grateful for a second chance, a brand new start.
Knowing that no one, will ever be able, to tare us apart.
