Drive Through Coffee Stand

The pilgrimage takes an hour total. Each day I travel
through the plains and the sun, or the trees and the snow; through the affluent and the impoverished, in the hopes
to find what keeps me spiritual. I know not
what I want, but what I expect.

I am arrived. I wait. I am briefed. I wait. I pay my dues,
I give my gifts. I wait. I give my thanks.

And as a prophet, honest and true, spreads the holy
message of the divine God—incorruptibly
innocent, he interprets the sacred word and
enlightens the masses, informs the believers
eager to hear the message, all devoting their
lives to the one they see as holy—so
passionately the barista handed me my drink.
