Gone
Bonnie M Davis (previously Pruitt) 1948 (Oklahoma)
I wonder where my poems have gone,
They are nowhere to be found.
I wrote so many of them, but...
My memory, it didn't rebound.
I still have copies of them,
My merits and my pin.
I even purchased a book
That my poem was placed in.
I guess I'll start all over,
Rack my brain for words that rhyme.
Enter more once again,
I hope these will survive.
