Freedom came back

Tasha 1982 (United states)

Back and forth through these worlds that we've created, just taking a breath feels like the sharpest pain imaginable
Life has given you up and thrown you into the water watching to see if you'll sink or swim.
All of this for nothing, but something surely comes from it for sure
Your eyes get heavier as you watch the stars fade off into the dark sky.. wondering why your even there.
I find my talents lost in the sands of time without a hand to pull me out.
Aching to find the will to push forward with all the strength I have left, only to find that my efforts leave me crying.
What will become of this shaken ground? The very earth where plants grow and animals run free through the fields as winds blow. You are the reason for my love
The reason for my decision and happiness that is rising up within. I'm reaching as far as the heavens with all of my might, tears of diamonds fall to the ground making oceans of Crystal's. Catch me so this feeling will never disappear. All alone she sits, looking into the mirror and sighs.
Could this be life or is it just a dream? Day after day I sit and ask this question over and over again.
If it is life then why does pain crush me? There has to be some way to get through this, something that's real.
Just for a moment Euphoria happens and she is loved with every ounce of happiness in the world, then suddenly.. just like a candle that is extinguished, the joy is ripped away again.
Back and fourth like a ball in a court I find myself reliving every ounce of pain that was held down for so long. "This to shall pass" I hear them say with a whisper, no more will you cry or ever be alone because we are here with you and will never go away. Stand up and blow a kiss into the sky and watch it light up.
