Risen

What does it mean to truly Rise
Change from the past you may despise
Nail your old self to a cross
Look your gain and not your loss

Is it easier done or said
Is your old self really dead
Does it mean your really free
When you decide to change on day three

In a way you are reborn
All traces of old self are gone
A stone that gathered moss is rolled
And you can be so bold
To rise up on a new morn
