Our Great London City

The hustle and bustle,
Of the grey London Town,
With many verbal tussles
Wearing great golden crowns

The tourists and journalists,
All wanting a peep
Of this explorer’s journey
An explorer’s dream.

The Crown Jewels and jewellery
Is not to be missed
It would be great foolery
Our lion would hiss.

The blacked up chimney sweeps
With dusty ol’ faces,
But whistling great happy tunes
And running in races.

The sappy store owner
The milkman and boy
The little old loners
The shops selling toys.

The rich and the poor
The bold and the meek
The young and the old
The eager and bleak.

The poor little doggies
On the Palace’s steps
The poets telling stories
Holding their reps.

The small fish n chip store.
The circus as well.
The big London eye
Overlooking hotels

Our great London city
Is not to be missed
For it is so pretty
It’s first on the list!
