Coffee

The sun has risen
Anger has evaporated
Mood has changed
The owls are imprison

Do you need energy?
Are you invigorated enough?
for just as it is you still are lovely,
the pale skin has peeled off

a cup brings you out of the woods
ones you put yourself in due to insomnia
you overwork yourself to a few hours of sleep
dancing yourself awake at night for god knows what

That cold cup you leave on the bed side
will never be enough for you to be you,
it will only bring you more fatigue
yet you cherish it with your life

You smile at its sight
frown when its away,
curse when you cant reach it,
is it really worth the trouble?

Your addiction has sky rocketed,
starting to doubt i can save you,
saying it's affection but the caffeine has affected your brain
your cranky behavior has left me puzzled..
