My Family And It’s Apples

Since I was little, I’ve always seen
Apples a-falling from the trees
Of course this is a regular tale
But wait, but wait, there’s more to unveil!

It started with my great uncle Albert
When he found the freshest trees from an advert
He rushed back home to his wife and cried:
“Oh look, oh look, the lord’s on our side!”

For our family was poor, so poor of apples
They never got a treat, it was a great tackle
Until one sunny day, a farmer appeared
“Selling a farm, for your friends and peers!”

Uncle Albert rejoiced, and so did Aunt May
And moved to the farm, that glorious day
Exhaling the fresh, decided country air
Making matches and matches for all that they cared!

So that is why, we are so eager
And if your lying, you better act meagre
For my Uncle Albert could rise from the dead yelling
“Why have you lied, and said what you said?”
