"Toxic love & sweet lies"

For almost 2 years I thought I was cool

But little did I know I was being a fool

Blinded by love I let my heart do the talking

When I should've used my head and just kept walking

I thought I could actually open up this time

I thought for once in life that I'd be fine

I gave up everything to see her smile

She gave me an inch while I gave her a mile

Never again will anyone get that close

Cuz I'll disappear so quick you can call me "ghost"

I'm tired of always putting my heart on the line

And then when it goes wrong I claim the blame as mine

That just proves its me, myself, and I

Imma take this journey solo until the day I die

Yeah its cold but in the end Im strong

I should've believed what they said all along

I lost everything because I listened to my heart

Next time I'll stop it before it can start

I was a fool to think it was love

Now Im buried in myself while she laughs from above

Maybe I deserved it for what I've done

I mean who could really want me my hope is gone

They say Im alright and not to beat myself down

But I've struggled for so long that Im starting to drown

Maybe its a lesson I had to learn

Cuz when it comes to love, I just crash and burn
