Battle

Am I meant to be here,
Probably for someone to talk to or to deal with problems.
Eighteen years old and yet not sure the point
of me being here.
I still haven't done much of anything,
Sure I went through thirteen years of school,
But it seems there should be more.
What is left to come,
Work the rest of my life and become like everyone else,
Making money to live and supporting each other.
How can we call this any kind of life,
It's all going to end and for what,
A battle between all of us to determine who will end up with more.
