Freedom?

The sky darkened as the hours ticked away
I blinked, and everything moved out of places
What's wrong with this falling, cruel world?
Why does it trigger you when I said the word 'races'?

Am I living in the freedom that I've sought?
My limbs, feels like they're shackled and chained
My wings were cut off, thrown in the wood
Every effort drowned and burnt in vain
Is this what I've been seeking?
Is this what life really is?
Can someone just explain to me
What kind of freedom is this?

Walking down the canyons
Stay afloat in the middle of ocean
Life tied my strings in a spider web
So tell me, is life really exist with reasons?

I've settled through everything so hard
I tried my best, tried not to ask for help
But everything just doesn't seem enough
Like living tied to an endless debt
I just want people to see
That I tried, I cried and I survived
It's like drowning in air
Without even taking a dive

Someone please hug me
Someone please be here
If I'm screaming in misery
Will anyone ever hear?

One step closer
You can't see or hear me
Another step more
Goodbye for eternity
