"Triumph"

"Triumph"

During every phase of life, I've yearned consistently to win;

To win at something, anything, because I hate losing more than God hates sin;

The challenge is to somehow overcome defeat and failure----then finally become victorious;

To achieve something, anything worthwhile for me would be so glorious!

"Eager to quit, eager to lose" is an old, well-known expression;

To fail repeatedly is the principal key to grief, shame, and depression;

By now it's become far too overwhelming and a challenge beyond repair;

Achieving triumph over a major adversity will definitely eliminate despair!!!
