with the breeze that blew past,

That touched my soul so profoundly,
Was that your voice, Ma?
Echoing deep into my mind,
Did you just gently remind me, Ma?
Of the earthly do’s and don’ts,
Did you just gently stare at me, Ma?
In that earnest look that captivates,
As I delve my thoughts into the mighty sky,
Where stars endless shine up above,
As I wake up from that dreamy gaze,
Into the reality of you not being there?
