Freestyle

ashley.thomas128 1992 (Nevada)

Bent -
Tough exterior
Confused
A stranger in the mirror
How the f*ck did you manage to end up here?
Not a pot to piss,
Left everything a dozen times.. Just gave the thieves my shit
Not even a word formed from my lip
Hold it in, speak on it and the chance of bashing their brain isn't too far from thin
Thin, just like I'm spread within
I'll shut the f*ck up before I check your chinny- chin- chin
Trauma eventually turns into expectation
Over and over again, my mind has checked out - Associations needed vacation, this is called my daily black-out
I don't remember, it's not my fault
Please don't hate me, my mental health couldn't bare having any part...
Subconscious is degenerating the present
My memories are a virus. A disease.
I can't seem to function - will you please just take a portion of these?
It's debilitating, confusing and utterly self-frustrating
These flashes, my pain hidden in the deepest of stashes. Short films, my innocence burned out by the hottest of kilns.
I can't seem to get off of the battlefield, I'm exhausted, ready to yield. How long can someone possibly hold up this armor and shield?
