“tissue please”

GOD Allowed me to visit with an ANGEL TODAY
SHE SIT QUITELY AND LISTENED TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY
HER WORDS OF WISDOM PEIRCED ME MORE THAT SHE WILL EVER KNOW
AS SHE STOOD TALKING, GOD GAVE HER An HEAVENLY GLOW
THE FACE OF AN ANGEL, IS WHAT Appeared to me...
I BEGAN TO WEEP
SHE Rubbed BY BACK, she CONTINUED speaking, I began to PRAY...
GOD SENT ME TO ONE OF HIS EARTHLY ANGEL'S ON TODAY
AS I Exited her office, SHE GAVE ME A TOKEN of Praise
PERMISSION TO RELAX; I CONTINUED TO PRAY
IN LESS THAN A MINUTE SHE BECAME MORE THAN MY DOCTOR
SHE BECAME A COUNCILOR AND A FRIEND, a voice of Praise...
IN A MOMENTS TIME SHE WIPED AWAY SO MUCH INNER EMOTIONAL PAIN…
I HEARD HER VOICE SOFTLY SAY TO ME,
 “MISS OFFICER”,
“GO A HEAD AND CRY, ITS OKay, GO A HEAD LET GO OF THE PAIN
IT'S OK MISS OFFICER; I was still yet silently praying...
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO STRONG... My eyes began to spray
I RELAXED MY BODY AND AS SHE ENBRACED ME I exhaled...
I WALKED TO MY CAR,
 STILL I continued PRAYING
IT BEGAN TO RAIN, THE HEAVENS OPEN,
THE CLOUDS BEGAN TO AGREE,
MY TEARS BECAME INVISABLE; THE CLOUDS SENT DOWN THE RAIN IN AGREEMENT WITH ME

I CONTINUE; PRAYing
TEARS OF RELIEF
TISSUE PLEASE…
FROM HER HANDS TO MINE…
I WENT TO MY CAR
RELAXED AND PRAYED
THE HEAVENS SPRAYED

Regenna Hairston-Grier Claim this poet

THESE POEMS ARE A COLLECTION OF EMOTIONS I WAS FEELING WHILE GOING THOUGH THE LOST OF MY ONLY BROTHER, TO A BRUTAL MURDER, HE WAS THE YOUNGEST OF MY MOTHER'S CHILDREN;  MY SEPARATION THEN DIVORCE FROM MY BEST FRIEND OF 21 YEARS;  AND THE SEPARATION FROM MY BIOLOGICAL FAMILY . I WAS HURTING FEELING LOST BUT STILL FELT A STRONG PRESENCE OF GOD, WHEN MY OLDEST DAUGHTER WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD AND LEFT IN HER CLOSET IN A HOME INVASION, MY THOUGHTS WERE, MY GOD! " BUT ONLY GOD!" COULD SUSTAIN ME THOUGH SUCH TRIALS, AND THESE WERE ONLY MY VALLEY HIGHS, THERE WERE MANY LOWS WHERE I HELD ON TO HIS UNCHANGING HAND, HIS WORD PROMISED ME THAT HE WOULD NOT BUT MORE ON ME THAN I COULD BARE, AND THOUGH IT ALL, WHEN I FELT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE HAND OF GOD, I CONTINUED IN MY FAITH, BECAUSE I TRULY TRUST THE HEART OF MY FATHER! I KNOW TODAY only MY LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST IS THE REASON I AM STILL STANDING AND SANE. MY HEAVENLY FATHER KEPT ME SOUND AND MY HEART PURE THOUGH IT ALL; AND MY CHILDREN WHO WAS AND STILL ARE MY STRONGEST SUPPORTERS PRAISE GOD!I THANK GOD FOR MY SPIRITUAL FAMILY FOR SUPPORTING ME IN PRAYER THOUGH MY MANY TRIAL STAGES....ALSO A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MINISTER LADONNA JOHNSON, FOR WITHOUT HER I WOULD NOT BE PUBLISHED THIS DAY. more…
