~ Without Tomorrow ~
If not for the dark, we'd never see the light
Without the blind, we'd never know sight
If not for the wind, we'd never know the leaves blow
Without the rain, we'd have nothing to sow
If not for the lies, we'd never know truths
Without the elder, we'd never know youth
If not for the sun, we'd never see the moon
Without water, we'd never see butterflies bloom
If not for today, we'd never live for tomorrow
Without our tears, we'd never feel sorrow
If not for the cold, we'd never know the warmth
Without the bees to make honey, we know not to let them swarm
If not for the bad times, we'd never appreciate the good
Without fire, we'd never know to burn wood
If not for hate, we'd never know love
Without the skies we'd have nothing above
If not for harm, we'd never feel safe
Without God, we'd never know faith
If not for war, we'd never know peace
Without the books, we'd never know to read
If not for pain, we'd never know to feel
Without guns they'd be one less way to kill
If there were no struggles in life, life would be a bore
Without the oceans they'd be no waves to roar
If we have faith in the human race, all of us need to change our ways
Without this less than perfect world we live, we would not be who we are
If of the heavens and earth, there would be a birth of a angel child
Without this gift of today, we wouldn't get out and enjoy the day
