~ The Five Fears ~

So many emotions coming to the surface I've tried to ignore
I have no idea which one to conquer before I explode
One, that over powers the rest, it won't let me sleep
Pondering over it, no answers do I seek
The Second stares at me in the face, one I don't want to seriously
It fills me with too much anxiety
The Third makes me sick to my stomach, all I can do is run from it
I'm so careful not to plummet
The Fourth keeps me down, it's to hard to bring up,
this one is too evil, and I can't face the upheaval
The Fifth and final is my mother's mumble
telling me to, "deal with my troubles"
Little does she know, the "Second One," is really about her

Yvonne Sensing

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are. more…
