~ Jump Start ~

In these times of heartache and pain
In these days of running short of money
We can always look up, and know there are crystals of rain
We can feel there's still the days ahead, that will alway's be sunny

For the world may be of dark days and woes
For your own it may seem like thunderous grey skies
Depending on your direction and what you precive as low
Depending on the solution you choose, it may come as a surprise

The way you see the glass half empty, or half full
The view you take on getting through each waking hour
Realizing there's more important things in life, is really cool
Realizing the playing hard at life, gives you it's devine power

Ever noticed a smile on your face gives you one right back?
Ever felt like dancing in the rain, or singing out loud?
Ever seen the colors of the sky as a matter of fact?
Ever done something for someone and felt really proud?

It's those little things in life that really make the difference
It's these people we meet everyday, whether or not their strangers
It's how you view yourself, and hopefully you do with reverence
It's what you make out of your life, not what you wager

Yvonne Sensing

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are. more…
