You Have Touched Me, I Have Grown

Winter is over and it's time to sow
Tiny little seeds in the ground so low.
Time to let my heart and soul run free
As I ask you to guide and strengthen me.

You have helped me plant life's tiny seeds,
The ones within have grown indeed.
You gave me strength to water the plants
And they came up in Spring and danced.

You have touched me, I truly have grown;
Yet some seeds by the wind have been blown.
And others fell on the rocky ground
But those that fell in good soil abound.

It's my job now to water the plants
And sing to God as if in a chant:
Sing praise to Him who sets me free,
I love the One who created me!
