You Can't Start Sooner Than Now

What have you been waiting for before you fill the dream?
You can't start sooner than now to give your plan a theme.

What have you been waiting for before you learn to fly?
You can't start sooner than now to give your angst a sky.

What have you been waiting for before you drop the grudge?
You can't start sooner than now to give your wrath a nudge.

What have you been waiting for before you raise the flag?
You can't start sooner than now to give your skills a brag.

What have you been waiting for before you fall in love?
You can't start sooner than now to give your fears a shove.

What have you been waiting for before you tell the truth?
You can't start sooner than now to give your life a couth.

What have you been waiting for before you seek to dance?
You can't start sooner than now to give your feet a chance.

What have you been waiting for before you go first-class?
You can't start sooner than now to give your ease a pass.

What have you been waiting for before you make the choice?
You can't start sooner than now to give your needs a voice.
