You Can't Judge A Book By Its Cover

You can’t judge a book by its cover
For you never know what it’s holding inside
You never know who someone truly is
For there’s so much that we all hide
You can’t judge a book by its cover
Because there’s so much more than meets the eye
We don’t fit in some neat little package
I couldn’t even if I tried
You can’t judge a book by its cover
Though it’s something we seem to all do
Just when you think you got someone figured out
You tend to learn a thing or two
You can’t judge a book by its cover
Because in doing it you’ll never see
What all of its pages have to offer
You’ll never know the real me
