Yoga Pose

I felt so low, before.
My aura was a wooden door
and my eyes were shut
but staring, black as soot
and my foot curled in CMT strain -
not pain, just intense, and lame.

Sitting rough on smooth floor
feeling poor to begin but looser
later, laughing freefully fretlessly
tirelessly happy and in time.
Mine own moment, alone in space,
lace-wrapped, doll-like, limp.
Nymphs are free like that.
Sat in pose chosen for peace
like elegant geese stretched long
and strong up to the sunlight,
no fight left in our sight.
