Worlds Pause

The promises of tomorrow swerve silently
across the feathered realms of today's wings,
circles of love splash wine in golden cups
while jewelled ornaments fashion themselves
in imagination's cool sacred depths,
where gifts are wrapped in pleasure's expressions.

Far away galaxies wink at the smiles
in the solar system we swirl inside,
darkened edges flap thoughts of adventure,
rivers of sensual exploration
crash against lunar powered perceptions,
and I touch your cheek with a kiss of blue;
a shade of nature that entices grace.

Fears vanish as lips merge in warm moments,
time becomes meaningless as we caress
the spirit's wild emotional language.

Wonderful complexity slips her dress
to the wind while hearts collect each other,
multitudes of fresh beauty's colours dance
along the shivers which run across us.
Such are the visions within solid blinks,
I whisper your name to the stars that spin
me into desire's delicate motion,
all the worlds pause as I release a sigh.
